Ini postingan kedua gue tentang serial tv. Postingan pertama tentang Adventures of Merlin. Dan postingan kedua ini gue mau ngomongin, as you know from the title, Vampire Diaries (;

Baru aja tadi liat pertama kali entah episode ke berapa dan… walaupun telat banget tapi yah gue masih bisa menikmati kisahnya Elena sama Stefan dan juga Damon, hehe.

Kita kenalan dulu yuk sama cast-nya.

Serial ini ber-genre supernatural-fantasy horror. Ceritanya si Elena—seorang manusia—jatuh cinta sama vampir bernama Stefan (Twilight banget ga sih?) ! Tapi, eits, jangan samakan samakan Twilight dulu! Serial ini juga diadaptasi dari novel berjudul sama sih karangan L.J. Smith, ga beda sama Twilight yang juga diadaptasi dari novel karangan Stephanie Meyer. Tapi…novel Vampire Diaries ternyata terbit lebih dulu loh sebelum Twilight mengemuka. Yah begitulah…

Well, kembali ke alur yah. Kemudian kisah cinta Elena dan Stefan diganggu Damon, kakak Stefan yang menghantui tentang kehidupan masa lalu sang adik bersama mantannya, Katherine.

Damon yang cakepnya ga ketulungan disini diceritakan playboy banget. Yah ga heran lah cowok cakep nan flamboyan pasti playboy, yah macam karakter Dean Winchester di Supernatural. Ian Somerhalder memerankan tokoh Damon dengan sangat SEMPURNA. Ntar kita bahas deh karakternya kalo gue udah liat beberapa episode.

Serial ini juga fokus pada kehidupan Elena dan kawan-kawannya di kota fiksi, Mystic Falls di Virginia.

Yah udah dulu deh ngebahas perkenalan Vampire Diaries. Eits, ini baru pemanasan, bakal ada postingan tentang Vampire Diaries yang lebih panas lagi loh *apa sih?
